We're heading to a pool party today, and I decided to bring over a batch of my Grandma's Deviled Eggs. It's been a while since I made these, and they're one of our absolute favorites! Unfortunately, I had some sort of freak batch of eggs that cracked the wrong way when I was trying to peel them. It was a mess. I didn't think the eggs were super fresh, which I know can make peeling tough, so it really took me by surprise. So this is what they should look like...but sadly, it didn't end up working out this time, and I had to throw the whites out. Luckily, my son is old enough to eat eggs now, so I saved the yolks and will mix them in with some of his food for the next few days.
