Crockpot Spicy Turkey Three-Bean Chili

For the almost-annual Italian cookie baking event, where Dino, his dad and uncle get together and make a gigantic batch of Dino's grandma's holiday cookies (an event that I now refer to as The Italian Kitchen Invasion), I wanted to make a dinner that didn't involve me being in the kitchen for too long. I wanted to stay out of the way of all that manly baking. So when I woke up in the morning, I started a batch of our favorite Spicy Three-Bean Turkey Chili on the stovetop. I cooked the onion and meat, and then put it into the crockpot and added the rest of the ingredients, stirred, and cooked it on low all day. It was easy, and I kept the crockpot in the dining room so it would be out of their way. When the cookies were done baking, we all had a big bowl of chili with some of the bread that I made today and what was left from yesterday. It was a great meal!
